Everyone takes a placement test before joining, so you start in the class that fits you. You do it online, in one sitting, and it ends with a short speaking recording that you upload. You get your result by email within 48 hours.

Before you start

  1. Sign in to GoogleThe speaking upload needs a Google account. Learners aged 13 and under use a parent's account.
  2. Headphones and a quiet roomYou will hear the listening recordings once, inside the form.
  3. Your phone, ready to recordUse the voice recorder app. Say your full name first, then answer every prompt in one recording.
  4. One sitting, on your ownNo dictionary, no translation tools, no AI, no help from others. We want to see your real level.
